Utility Sales Department

The Utility Sales Department of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc., (AECI), provides electrical equipment and other needed material for the construction of electric distribution and transmission systems. It offers a complete line of electrical equipment, including wood products, pole-line hardware, overhead and underground conductors, as well as pole-mount and pad-mount transformers.

"Service is our top priority," says Pat McClafferty, AECI's vice president of utility sales and services division. He adds that the utility sales department's warehouse maintains a $16.5 million inventory to ensure it can serve its customers quickly. AECI also has professional truck drivers who operate a state-of-the-art fleet of vehicles to deliver material directly to customers. With the trucking fleet and extensive inventory, AECI is especially prepared to serve its customers during emergencies.
